How To Log Emails in WordPress using WP Mail SMTP?
The first thing is to install and activate the WP Mail SMTP plugin in your blog. We recommend the premium version for our users because it comes with a free service called White Glove Support. The team will help you install, activate, and configure the plugin.
Also, they will take care of the form integration.
Anyway, after configuring the plugin, go to the email log section.
By enabling the email log feature, you can easily track the
- Email status.
- Date and Time.
- Subject Line.
- Mailer Options Used.
Etc…
Simply enable email logging.
A second option will appear after you enable the log. If you want, you can help with the log content too… The idea is pretty simple. By allowing this, you can store the email contents on your WordPress website.
If you need that, enable it and save the settings. If you don’t, leave it.
Just like I said above, save the settings.
You are done!
From now on, every new email will be tracked. You can see them by going to the WP Mail SMTP settings in your WordPress dashboard under the email log.
By clicking on the subject line, you can easily view the contents of the email.
Simple, isn’t it?
This is how you can log your emails with WordPress. There is no need to use any third-party website; you can easily track them all in your WordPress dashboard.
